'How many times should I forgive my neighbours?' asked Peter of the Lord. 'Because every time I forgive them, they take it as an excuse to trespass against me some more. Is seven times enough?' The Lord answered, 'Not seven, but seven times seventy-seven times should you forgive your neighbour. That's five hundred and thirty-nine times, I think. That should be enough. After that you can damn them to Hell for all eternity.' |
